Why This Site Exists
Most jail and inmate information in Florida is open to the public. The hard part is not access, it is knowing where to look. The Collier County Sheriff's Office runs the local jail roster, which covers people arrested in the county who are waiting for court or serving short sentences. The Florida Department of Corrections runs a separate locator for people sentenced to state prison. Federal inmates and immigration detainees show up in yet other systems. We built this site to map those channels in plain language, with the rosters, locators, office contacts, visitation details, and request steps gathered in one spot.
What You Will Find Here
The pages here are organized around the questions people actually ask.
- Inmate lookup help across jail inmate records, jail roster mugshots, and court records after a jail arrest.
- A page for each Collier County detention facility, with its address, phone, and visitation rules.
- Step-by-step help for the county arrest search and the statewide Florida inmate locator.
- How to request a booking record or photo, and what turnaround to expect.
What We Cannot Do
It helps to be blunt about the limits. This is a privately run reference site. It has no tie to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the jail centers, the Florida Department of Corrections, or any other government agency. We do not run a jail and we do not keep official records.
- We cannot release, hold, or transfer anyone in custody.
- We cannot post bond, set up a visit, or send money for you.
- We cannot give legal advice.
- We cannot promise every phone number, fee, or address stays current.
Only the Sheriff's Office or the corrections department can confirm a current custody status, the charges, or a release. This site can point you to the right roster, but the official answer comes from them.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those providers set their own pricing and run their own results. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, which is what keeps the pages free to use. We do not control the pricing or the output of those partner tools, and using them is always optional.
